Shipley Country Park, Heanor, Saturday 4th July. Course lengths and schools registration via link below. Other adult and junior competitors welcome, please complete conventional registration slip at the event. Teachers make a copy of your forms so that you will know which e-card belongs to which child.

DVO 40th Celebration weekend

Hope those who turned up enjoyed todays event. Thankfully the rain stopped both for the running and the BBQ. Results are now available online as are pictures. Click on the photo below to see more taken at the event by onlookers.

Sunday was a very wet and windy day at Carsington Pastures, a very fast but technical area.

Open meeting and Wednesday training changes.

JK Relay winners

Congratulations to Harriet Lawson, Nathan Lawson and Ben Beresford who were the winning team in the M/W40- class at the JK relays.

JK Day 1 Sprint

DVO members enjoyed a mainly dry sprint day in Newcastle. Fast and furious racing was the order of the day with no time for hesitation, doubt or route choice error. There were a number of top ten places by DVO members but the star performance was from Liz Godfree who won the W60 sprint class by nearly one clear minute.

Compassport Cup

Thanks to all that ran at the event on Sunday. Sadly we did not get through to the final but were third behind SYO (Last years winners) and NOC.

Linacre cancelled

You may have noticed that Linacre no longer appears in our fixtures list. The event has had to be cancelled due to problems with access and car parking. It is hoped that another date can be sorted for the event.
